Family Session: The Forinas, round two! [Boston, MA]

You may remember that cute face from our shoot with the Forina family last Fall.

Delia was just a wee baby! A year later she's on the move!



We all chased little Delia all over Piers Park in Boston, not far from where Anthony grew up in Winthrop. The place was beautiful, and home to our first "Do you have a permit" encounter with Boston's finest. I think that's some sort of rite of passage for location photographers!


Delia was our art director for the day, and she demanded swing shots!

Rockstar Couple: Meg & JC's vintage, crafty wedding. [Gloucester, MA]

Meg and JC hired us to shoot just a few hours for their ceremony in Gloucester, MA. It was such a beautiful day and Meg looked...wowzers...

The Negri Family...all ten thousand of them! [Dartmouth, MA]

Alright, maybe not ten thousand but this was definitely our biggest family yet! You may see some familiar faces if you read our blog or facebook, we just did Kate and Tom's 5th Anniversary photos this past summer.

James and I also did her brother James' senior photos, and you'll see him again as James and I both have shot him since! Kate jokes about us being her family photographer, which is fine with me because they made these two little cuties and I could photograph them forever. :) (From this session last Spring)

We went out on a blustery day in October and had a great time rearranging everyone into groups...the older siblings, the younger, the ones off to college, the sisters...we even took a sequence with each "kid" jumping into the shots in order of birth.
Right to left we've got The Burkes, Norah, Tom, Finn and Kate and then Pete (seated), Joe, Mom Sue, Dad John, Jon, Mary and James

Girl Meets Cow: Carley's senior session [Dighton, MA]

Carley is a cow whisperer.

We met Carley, her folks and her cow Peanut on a beautiful October day at Bristol County Agricultural School in Dighton, Ma. The school grounds are really cool, we'd never been there before. The light, the weather and the subject...all gorgeous!

Peanut was a little camera shy and Carley's cow-handling skills we on point!

Cows and kids...can't keep them out of their nose!

Carley raised Peanut, by the way...she won an award at Bristol Aggie's annual show for making Peanut "sit pretty". I don't know how a cow sits pretty but my mind is blown nonetheless.

Congratulations Carley! In case you're wondering if Carley is off to continue her work with cows...she's not! Psychology is on her list of "maybes". Go get it, girlie.

November? Did November Happen?

We've had a bit of a blog hiatus while we worked through a slew of wedding processing...you get cocky when your weddings are a few weeks apart and you can keep up no problemo. Then you get six weddings in a few weekends and say goodbye to friends and family for a month! We hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
We've got a bunch of work to show and couples to show off! Yes, that's us! James and I got some new pics to use for the blog and twitter while hanging out with our little photo gang from The Hideout (the forum James and I met on). We'll show you the rest, you guys can tell us which one you like best and laugh amongst yourselves knowing we squirm on the other side of the camera.

Families! Another family shoot with the Forinas, starring the increasingly adorable Delia and her parents, Kat and Anthony. Also our first time being asked for a permit while shooting in a park. I feel like a REAL photographer now! ;) We also had our biggest family sesh yet with The Negri family! You'll see some familiar faces there.
(some Burkes in there, too!)

Babies! A tiny, tiny baby named Nolan!

Weddings! We've got Megan and JC, Laura and Ian (of carnival e-session fame), Yvonne and Randy and in a week or two, Crystal and Tommy, Lauren and Ben, and Sarah and Joe!

Engagements! When two Ren Faire employees collide...Kayla and John rocked it in the woods of Carver!

And even a senior! Carley took us around her school, Bristol Aggie, and introduced us to her Cow...Peanut. We've had our first cow, people.
2011 round ups!
